My mother might lose her job, my sister and my mother are in a "tiff" you could say, and it just doesn't seem like it's the holidays.
Now, just to be clear, I'm very well off. It's not like my mom is going to lose her job and we'll have to live out in the cold... But it's a big deal to my mother. My older sister is home from college for the holidays, but my mom and her just can't seem to find even ground. One of them is always pushing the buttons of the other (usually without knowing it).
But the saddest thing is that no one is choosing to forget about these things and sing "Dahoo-doray" or whatever instead.
I feel like there is nothing special about this upcoming week. I just happen to have 2 weeks off and my sister is home.
And no Who's are coming to sing around the tree this year.
