Holidays=Shopping

I risked my life to get a great sale on long sleeves this Friday morning. And today I'm going shopping again with my best friend, Franny. (Remember her? Franny's the one that ditched me to go to a different high school. So far the "Stay Best Friends with Franny" plan is working!) And I love shopping for other people, (and long sleeved t-shirts) but shopping seems to be the only thing holidays mean to people now. The only reason people come home for the holidays at all is to hope for a better deal on whatever-it-is-they-want. Shoppers aren't even NICE anymore.

I remember when I was little and everyone was saying "Merry Christmas!" or "Happy holidays!" to random people in random stores. Now, its like: "*beep* mother *beep*! You can't have that *beeep* shirt! It's the *beep* last one! It's mine! I *beep* saw it *beep* first! It'd look like *beep* on you anyways! *beep*!"

Yeah. Happy holidays to you too. But you know, if they want to act like that, let them. The rest of us we'll just keep dancing around in the halls singing along to Christmas carols.

Because you know what they say:
"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."

Power Outage!

A lot of people I know loooove power outages. "Oh my gosh the power might go out!!" As they are all screaming "YAY" I'm thinking "Lord, take me now." I'm terrified of the dark.

I also hate all the things that come with power going out. (Except for an occasional lighting flash ... that's pretty sick.) Like just now, I had to go to the bathroom. The lights came back on, but were flickering on and off, so I held my flashlight tightly in my hand. I have never peed faster in my life.

And then there's the frustration of emailing, writing term papers, and blogging. Because even though you know that your blog is saved every min you really want to post it tonight so you star tping really fast and make a ton of mustakes an

Just kidding, guys.
So. Power outage. Love 'em or hate 'em?

I'm baaaaack!

Hey!!

Since I know everyone was worried about where I went, if I forgot my Blogger password, if I died, etc; I'd like to confirm that I am very much alive. I still go to coffee practically everyday, I still enjoy the movie Benny&Joon, aaaaand:

I finally got casted into a show!! It's a school production, but a show nonetheless. I play a very small (but awesome) role of a mob boss in The Sting, which is based off the movie, in the 1930's. This means that yes. I actually have to wear a tucked in blouse with high waisted skirt and oxfords to match. The costume itself is awesome, but I'm just worried about the very visible underwear lines.

Sexy.

With that lovely image in your head, I'm off to bed! (I rhymed again!)
See y'all later!
